We are excited to release our Third Quarterly Report for 2026, capturing our advocacy, research, and community engagements from July through September.
Here is a snapshot of our key milestones and initiatives from Q3:
- Institutional Reform: We mounted intensive advocacy on the Freedom of Information (FOI) Bill 2026, including public demonstrations, PSSC testimony, and town halls, while contributing to consultations on National Budget 2027 and political financing reforms.
- Environmental Governance: Our team conducted community site visits in Ulu Papar, Sabah, examined licensed e-waste recycling operations in Klang, and co-organized the launch of the Baram Peace Park report.
- Regional Advocacy: We represented C4 Center at international workshops in Taipei on democratic resilience and in Bengaluru on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems.
- Civil Society & Outreach: We strengthened solidarity through participation in CSO resilience assemblies, peaceful assembly workshops, legal aid training programs for law pupils, and high-level stakeholder dialogues.
- Digital Growth: Our commitment to quality, organic storytelling drove massive engagement across platforms, with Instagram views surging by 159% entirely organically.
