C4 met with Penang CM Chow to present procurement report

A FOUR-MEMBER delegation from the Center to Combat Corruption & Cronyism (or better known as C4), led by its executive director Cynthia Gabriel, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at his office in Komtar today.

The other members were C4 northern region co-ordinator Sudhagaran Stanley, core team member Michael Xavier and associate member Ian McIntyre, who is also a journalist with The Sun.

Cynthia thanked Chow for granting them a time slot in his tight schedule as well as commended him for his time to meet with other civil societies.

They exchanged views on procurement issues, business integrity, bidding of contracts and open tenders, the civil service, engagement with the public and Vision 2030 for Penang unveiled by Chow recently.
